Located along an old section of US Route 99. According to the Fresno Bee, this was constructed in 1917. The highway was rerouted to the west in the 1930's and again in the 1960s, But for years this was the southern entrance to the city along the Mother Road. Back in the 1980s a local businessman purchased the arch and his family currently owns and maintains the arch.
