The original New Mexico gelato shop, open 7 days a week year around, where you can get gelato and more. If you're looking for a cup, pint or quart of gelato this is the place, but if you're looking for a cone, sundae or other exotic way of eating your frozen dessert, look elsewhere. They do offer other items such as cookies and a selection of "Divine Desserts" including cheesecake, cake slices, fruit tarts, Key Lime bars, and more.
If you're thirsty, they can quench it with coffee, over 20 kinds of tea, hot cocoa, hot cider and soft drinks. If you want something hot with a bit more substance, they even serve hot cups of noodles. If you're in a hurry, you can take it with you, or if you want to linger over one of the 18 delicious flavors they offer, they have plenty of seating. Speaking of flavors, they even have sugar free gelato, and the sugar free raspberry we had was very good indeed.
It's both a local destination and a tourists delightful find, but once your inside and the display case beckons, you can ask for a taste of any of the flavors and they will give you whichever you want with a smile.
The menu may be rather spartan compared to the typical ice cream parlor, but rather than put the money into fancy furnishings, they put it into the gelato, after all, that's why you went there in the first place.
