The benchmark text says it belongs to Kungsbacka municipally and is protected by law.
Found during a geocaching trip where we made a small detour to investigate a 134.7 meter peak marked on map; which yielded a benchmark hidden on the peak.
Not very difficult climbing required (you can climb without gear or much climbing experience -- although you may have to take it slow if you are in a bad condition, and be careful). The way here might not be obvious, we approached it as follows:
- Drive to Skårby
- Drive towards Skårekulle and park car; do NOT drive all the way to Skårsjön!!!
WARNING: bad road conditions. After the last house marked on map, I suggest you park the car. Or the road might kill it (our car banged into the ground when we tried). Consider yourself warned ;-)
- Walk to Skårsjön
- Take the stairs up to the Tele communication towers
- Find an easy way down. The path we found was not so hard, close to a grounding wire in steel.
- Keep close to the mountain (your map should tell you it is swamp close by, and you probably can see it as well)
- Easy climb - from here you should find a way to walk to the mountain and you can actually walk all the way onto the peak.
