The Northern Western beach is a place we visit once a week to walk from the parking area shown at the above co-ords,along the beach to the tip of the Island, returning through the paths in the sand dunes.
In the Winter months hardly another soul will be seen along this stretch of coast, apart from the occasional hardy dog walker,of which I count myself in that category, but it's a wonderful place, with Black Combe mountain dominating the view to the North, and sand dunes to the W.
