The Goodwin Education Center is located in the heart of the Carrizo Plain, California’s largest undisturbed, native grassland. It organizes guided tours and offers interpretive displays and exhibits about the endangered plants and animals of the San Joaquin Valley, the geology of the San Andreas Fault, and the human history of the area.

The center is open seasonally from the beginning of December to the end of May. Check out their website for directions and a lot of details.

Visit Instructions:
Visitors should visit the Nature Center and post a photo of themselves (or GPS unit) either inside or outside of the nature center visited. Logs without photos WILL be allowed if a lenghty description of one's visit and a mention of what they learned is included.
