This sundial is set in the middle of a Labyrinth, at one of the highest points in the park. It was designed by Milton Keynes artist Justin Tunley, and placed on June 21st 1995.
The time is represented in Roman numerals, around the Planetary ring. The top numbers are GMT and the bottom are BST. I took the pictures around 0940BST.
The large holes mark the hour and the small holes mark every ten mminutes between the hours.
Campbell Park is Milton Keynes Premier city park, open to the public all year. It holds may open air events, probably most famously, the free firework display each year for Guy Fawkes night.
Sundial Type: Armillary Sphere - series of rings in plane of equator
