At Sweet Life all the desserts are made from scratch with the finest ingredients. organic flours, expeller pressed oils, natural essential oil flavorings, real vanilla, Guittard chocolate, whole fresh and frozen fruits and local honey are used, along with buttercreams made with 100% butter.
All desserts are packed with flavor and richness. Whether it's the chocolate mousse cake with over a pound of chocolate, or the rich vanilla poundcake loaded with glazed northwest strawberries and freshly whipped cream, each bite is flavorful and delicious and each cake is an explosion of flavor: tender and moist cakes, along with melt-in-your-mouth fillings and homemade frostings.
Pastry cases packed with piles of petit fours, éclairs, crème brûlée, lemon bars, cookies and tartlets. Rows of desserts tempt you for a slice: tiramisu, mousse tortes, chocolate silks, fruit and cream pies, and cheesecakes. Another pastry case holds a large assortment of ready to go cakes for any occasion whether it’s a birthday, anniversary or just a serious chocolate craving.
For breakfast there’s an abundance of morning pastries: jumbo cinnamon rolls, Danish, apple strudel, muffins, croissants, scones, sticky buns, caramel bread pudding and savory strata.

For the food offered the Sweet life is not at all expensive, opposite most vegan bakeries this place was actually quite affordable, but allow me to elucidate a little. Having recently finished college my mid-western friends and I decided to take the nearly obligatory road trip out west. As we were coming from Michigan by way off Memphis found us in a sorry state of affairs. Near the end of our trip we were nearly spent in every sense, the money was almost gone, the gas was almost gone, and the food had been nothing but peanut butter for the last few days. When a local friend introduced my bedraggled crew to Sweet Life we were ecstatic. Vegan cinnamon rolls the size of dinner plates oozing with creamy frosting, rich. Cake-like brownies in 3 varieties for $1.25. After we made sure there would be enough money to make it back to Michigan my travel mates and I promptly spent the rest of our money in this fantastic establishment.
