CP's Winnipeg Yard extends about 2.8 km (1.75 miles) from Main Street to McPhillips Ave. Two bridges cross the Yard - the Salter St Bridge (aka Slaw Rebchuk Bridge) and the Arlington St Bridge. The walk up the Salter St Bridge is a lot gentler than the steep Arlington St Bridge.
