[FR] Cet arbre a ete foudroye il y a environ 10 ans. La foudre peut infliger sur l'arbre des blessures plus ou moins graves. A l'extreme, elle peut fendre les arbres de bas en haut et, generalement, elle ouvre une porte d'entree aux champignon parasites.

[EN] This tree was struck by lightning about 10 years ago. Lightning can inflict wounds on a tree which are more or less serious. At its worse, it can split the tree from top to bottom and, generally, it provides an entryway for parasitic fungus.
