The box is still in use and is located at the junction between Elers Road and Culmington Road in Ealing, West London. The wayname comes from the fact this is also where two parks meet, Walpole Park and Lammas Park. I spent virtually every day of my senior school years walking past this postbox on my way home.

The box is still in reasonble condition although it could do with a lick of paint and some rust reatment. The lettering is still good. It is listing slightly northwards.
Tell us about the area the post box is situated.:
This part of Ealing is very leafy, as much of the borough is. It is situated on a reasonably junction and has done well to survive without some vehicle knocking it over, although that might explain why it leans over!

Condition of the box: Good/Average/Poor: Good

Is this post box still in use?: Yes

Is VR embossed on the post box or is it an "anonymous" box?: Yes

Any other embossed lettering, such as manufacturer?: Manufacturer - A Handyside & Co

Manufacturer Inscription: Andrew Handyside & Co Britannia Iron Works Derby & London
