The Gold Creek Flume Trail is probably one of the longest footbridges in the world, although I haven't seen research on it.

From a brochure:
The Flume is about a 15 minute walk from either downtown or Harborview School. It takes a leisurely 12-15 minutes to walk the approximately 3,250 feet of pressure-treated lumber. The walking surface is typically two boards across, but widens to six boards in a few good viewing areas.
