This Inukshuk was created for the Bears on Broadway which celebrated CancaerCare's 75th Anniversary. It's on Assiniboine Ave on the grounds of the Manitoba Legislature.

This was one of 61 bears created by various artists as a unique signature project for CancerCare Manitoba.

This design plays on the Inuit identity of Nanook, given to the polar bear, and the Inukshuk, a directional guide for a safe journey that Inuit peoples create out of stacking stones. These primitive stone images, supporting each other, reflect the way each of us depends on one another and a spirit of co-operation. (visit link)
