This dramatic building was designed by Nationally recognized architect Joan Soranno and the GDM/HGA architectural team to fulfill the vision and mission to expand the museum. You'll notice right away its design with innovative lines and spaces evoking images of alpine ridges, glaciers, breakup on the Yukon River and the aurora. Open spaces are filled with light offering inspiration to all who enter.
