Caution children about the 12 foot bluff that the bridge swings from.
This is a privately owned bridge across the scenic Mulberry River in the Ozark Mountains. Most of the year the Mulberry is a calm stream and the owners use a low water bridge. During the Spring rainy season the water level rises and the Mulberry becomes a fast flowing river, highly desirable for canoeing. During these times the owner uses the pedestrian bridge to reach his home from the highway.
The owner has a bench built at the entrance of the bridge and a contribution box to help defray the cost of maintaining the bridge. Please feel free to contribute.
The bridge can be reached from Clarksville by going north on Hwy 21 about 20 miles and then west on Forest Service Road 1003/Hwy 215.
