We don't usually talk to the treasure hunters on the beach because they seem to be in their own world and we don't want to disturb them. The gentleman in the photo popped out of his headphones for a while specifically to talk to Dawg and give her a scratch behind the ears. At this time we asked him about his finds. He said he usually finds one earring at a time. Once he found a pair. He finds other jewelry such as rings and necklaces. He said that he hasn't found anything of value yet but he has friends who have. He also said he has found a few naked women on the beach of which he seemed very pleased. It's all part of the fun!

He explained how he picks out about 100 yards of beach. He starts up near the grass and sea grapes and walks back and forth on that 100 yards and works his way to the water. He explained that his hunt for treasure is very good exercise. He estimates that he walks several miles when he walks back and forth on his chosen 100 yards of beach.
