One of the Local Landmarks of Northern Colorado, West of Loveland. From the arch one can look to the West and view Longs Peak and other areas.

This waymark is located at Devils Backbone is an awesome place to hike and view the blending of the foothills and the Mountains. A good map and information that was compiled by Tahosa can be found here and there is also a Grandfathered Virtual cache located out there

Type of Material:
The Devils Backbone is composed of gray-brown to tan Dakota Sandstones of the Lytle Formation. This formation is between 100 - 115 millon years old. The rock is extremely crumbly and unstable; do not climb on the rocks for your own safety.
