Vintage Nissan Fire Fighter Jeep - Kanchanaburi, Thailand - Fire Fighting Vehicles on Waymarking.com

Sometimes good things happen when you just get lost. Was trying to find my way to a small unique museum when I stumbled upon the city fire department. There in a parking space near the office I discovered a vintage Nissan fire fighter jeep. I spoke with a fireman who seemed quite pleased that I was interested in the jeep and insisted in being in one of the pictures. Unfortunately his English was poor and my Thai even more so, but I do believe he told me that the jeep still runs (it does have very new tires) and goes to fires. Have inclued pictures of the info plates found on the body of the jeep but since I don't read Japanese it doesn't help me. Hope someone will know more about this than I did. But it is a pretty cool vehicle none the less. All it needed was a spotted puppy.
