This pool is open to the public and is located next to the Hot Springs at Chena Hot Springs Resort about 63 miles NE of Fairbanks, AK.
The Hot Springs is restricted to adults 18 years old and older so the pool is very popular for families with children who come to soak in the mineral springs. The water averages 4 feet deep and is not over 5 feet at any part. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY and rules are very few - just like AK this is at your own risk.
The desk will rent towels for $5 so it is best to bring your own. Locker rooms are VERY small and lockers rent for .25 cents. You can also sign up for massage at at the pool desk.
