Situated in the churchyard of St.Cuthbert's church of Aldingham is this simple but nice sundial.
The sundial is fixed to the top of a sandstone column,which in turn stands on a base of a three stepped limestone base.
The sundial looks as though it has never been touched with it's wonderful coating of lichens on the stonework,the dial itself is made of brass.
