Stoke Climsland church has a large churchyard surrounding it and unusually for today still in use. A lot of churchyards are closed for burials as they are usually full and there is no room for further expansion. The oldest grave stone is that of Jone Trehane dated 1696 and later her husband John. There some interesting table tombs in the churchyard.
The register of burials at Stoke Climslands start in 1539. There also a sextons record book recording information about burials from 1900 to 2000.
