This is the entrance of part of South Friendship Mine, you can go in if you wish, it goes back a long way, as a lot of cachers have found out, as there is a cache inside near the back. There is always water flowing out of the entrance, which gets even deeper after rain fall, there is also a large hole to cross not very far from the entrance, this hole has a rusty gate across it.
The gps is a bit dodgy in this area, walking from Mary Tavy, cross the wooden footbridge turn left, passing a small cave on your right walk through a small gate, and the mine is on your right.
There are other adits in this area but this one is easy to find.
