There are two notable features of this Fraternity house. The golden twin lions out front which adorn the walkway and the other feature is the building itself. It is beautiful! There is a gorgeous balcony on the front left and the architecture is so typical of old, very old, Philadelphia.
There is a neat kind of courtyard feel as you walk up to the entrance. I was hoping to provide some more substantial information other than what my visit revealed. Unfortunately the fraternity website is down. There is a link on the national site, but that is broken as well. Hopefully, it will be repaired and I can add to this waymark in the near future.
This fraternity house is located on "fraternity house row" with several other houses. All the houses are very architecturally exciting. It must be very neat to live in them. The houses have to be at least one hundred years old if they are a day. I drive down Spruce Street every day on the way to work so I have been wanting to waymark one of these houses.
