A pair of John Deere tractors that have been put out to pasture beside an abandoned building in Jourdanton, Texas.

While they look very much alike, we finally concluded there were enough subtle differences in these two that they must have been made in different years. But then again, a tractor expert I am not, else I could tell which model they were.

There was also another one nearby, but was truly just a rusting carcass, having had everything above the frame stripped from it. As you can see from the photo taken at a distance, there were a number of rusting implements beside them, and they themselves where in an over grown field next to an abandoned building, just a block or so from City Hall. A telling statement about farming and ranching today.
