This was my second visit to Kanchanaburi but the first time I noticed this memorial marker. It's small compared to all the other memorials in this town. But then, there were only a little over 400 American POWs on the Death Railway compared to thousands from the other Allied forces. So, if you get a chance to visit, be sure to stop just before walking across the bridge and look to your right on the memorial plaza and visit this one.
