Not only is the price right (80 baht or about $2.50), but the exhibits are well done and the place is filled with artifacts. There is an amazing sculpture in the center of the 1st floor exhibit that gave me chills. Upstairs are exhibits about liberation of the POW camps and efforts for repatriation and moving the deceased to a beautiful new cemetery in town. And the bonus is that the museum has a large picture window in the canteen that overlooks the Don Rak Cemetery across the sidestreet. There's also access to a large database of the POWs who worked on and died or survived the death railway.
