"The "original" Scottish Rite Temple was built in 1900 in the Greek revival style of architecture. The Masonic order moved to a new location at 3rd and St. James Streets, and this building then operated as Eagles Hall.

The front portico is the only remaining portion of the original building. It functions as a handsome business building today."
