The "Saberliner" 62-4484, a cargo-configured T-39A, was the first aircraft of it's kind assigned to Kadena AB, Japan. It arrived in theater in June of 1964. After 20 years of service in the Pacific, it made it's final flight in November 1984, and was retired at Kadena AB.
