Eagle and Swan are the two most iconic animals in Potsdam. The city is the capital of the German state of Brandenburg and the eagle has been Brandenburg’s heraldic animal for hundreds of years.

The swan, on the other hand, is closely related to the river Havel, which borders Potsdam’s Friendship Island where these weather fanes can be found.

The coordinates were taken half way between the two buildings which are about 100 feet apart.
