The Reimer--Smith Oil Station was built in 1927 and was originally located at 205 North Baxter in Holyoke. The station originally sold Enarco petroleum products and lubricants, over the years the station sold a variety of different brands including Texaco, Sinclair and Frontier. The station closed in 1991. The building was rescued from demolition and moved to their museum site by the Phillips County Historical Society.

The station is one of the few remaining intact 1920s era "house with canopy" type of gas station in Colorado. The station features pressed metal as an interior and exterior wall treatment.

The building has been renovated and is now part of the Phillips County Historical Society Museum. The station was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
