Officially known as Phra Phutta Yodfa Memorial Bridge built to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Chakri Dynasty that still rules Thailand today. It has a pedestrian lane that only westerners seem to use. Originally it was built to open in the middle to accommodate river traffic but that mechanism is no longer used.
