Chestnut Hill was originally started as a community of summer houses for city residents. They used Forbidden Drive, a now multi use trail in the nearby Wissahickon Park, to get up from Center City. Chestnut Hill has many shops, restaurants, and even geocaches! Plan to spend a day exploring there.
