This bridge was constructed in the late 1990's to facilitate the increasing numbers of people visiting the marina.
The bridge is fully supervised twenty four hours a day with an operator on standby to higher and lower the bridge for yachts entering into the private marina at the rear of the Cape Grace hotel.
