Perlan- Reykjavik Iceland - Water Towers on Waymarking.com

Perlan restaurant, is build on six huge storagetanks for hot water from the hot springs.The water is used for heating the houses in Reykjavik and other uses, as bath water and normal consumption etc. The first tank was build 1939.Later on or 1991 the restaurant was build, and instantly became one of the landmarks of Reykjavík.
The site is 61 mtr. above sealevel.
