The Fairbanks Alaska Public Lands Information Centers offers scheduled films and programs throughout the winter. Come in from the cold and enjoy films about the gold rush, dog mushing, or Dall sheep, or a variety of other topics!

Filled with exhibits about Alaska's wildlife, this is a must see downtown. Exhibits include Salmon lifecycle, Grizzlys, Bald Eagles, and wolves. I learned more from one hour here than months of reading before coming to Alaska.

Be sure to ask what films they have, too. They are more than happy to put in whatever you would like to see!

As of 2022, the APLIC is located in the Morris Thompson Visitor Center ar 202 Dunkel St, Fairbanks AK. See: (visit link)
