I thought I knew everything about the bridge over the Kwai and attempts to destroy it during the war. This find in the JEATH Museum was a new fact to add to my store of knowledge.

According to the museum, this bomb was one of many dropped in 1945 to destroy the bridge but it didn't explode and fell into the river instead. It was later discovered, recovered, deactivated and placed in the museum.
