What do you think of when you hear Rock and Roll in Japan?
Starting with the Beatles in 1966, Bob Dylan, Cheap Trick in Budokan (1978), Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Linda Ronstadt, Pearl Jam, Guns N' Roses, Ozzy Osbourne and many others have performed, recorded albums and otherwise fed the Japanese fascination with all things western.
It's also a great place to get a western meal and hear English on TV for someone who's been away from home too long.
