This clock tower was built in 1862 by William Derry, who was the town Mayor at the time. The clock stands in the centre of the city of Plymouth, the city was more of a town then and was very different, all the old building around have now gone and replaced with new ones. I took the photo from a multi-story car-park and the building behind the clock in the picture is the Theatre Royal.
