The cemetery can be found in pleasant surroundings at the rear of the church.
In the cemetery will be found the grave of Gearge Romney the famous portrait painter,who was born in Dalton,in 1743,also in the cemetery is a small garden which id dedicated to the town's plague victims of 1631,there is a memorial plaque in the garden that commemorates the 630 victims,which would have been a large proportion of the then much smaller town.
In the cemetery can be found the grave of George Romney,the world famous painter who died in 1734
