Welcome to Lancashire - A place where everyone matters. This is the border from Cumbria into Lancashire on the A6 between Milnthorpe and Carnforth. Cumbria's sign is just a logo, but you get a welcome from Lancashire and apparently YOU matter.

Lancashire have developed their management speak to produce a vision, mission, and corporate objectives, all of which, of course, needs a snappy strap line to sum it up. A high degree of waffle is perhaps even more important in politics than commerce where at least you can count the receipts.
