St Francis & the Fish: Barrow-in-Furness

St Francis church was consecrated on 16th July 1955 to serve a new housing estate, replacing a former mission church within St Matthew's parish. Atop its slender spire is a fishy vane. The cardinal letters are in poor state but the fish is fine.
