A new clock on a new supermarket telling the shoppers of Barrow the time. The Morrisons store was built in 2003 on land near the docks.

The new store was Morrisons' 122nd store in the UK. As well as the usual departments it has a cafe which looks out over Buccleuch Dock. The new supermarket was opened by the company's chairman, Sir Kenneth Morrison, and the Mayor of Barrow, Des Barlow in June 2003.
At the end of the large car park is the main entrance and near the top of the gable is a black & white clock. The Roman numerals give it a traditional look but it is modern clock.
