Dasa Book Cafe - Used Book Stores on Waymarking.com

The best thing about Dasa is the database. You can go the webpage, look up a book, send email and ask them to mail it out or hold it for you. There are other used book stores in town but this is the most organized. If you're like me and getting into Bangkok is a bit of an ordeal with time constraints, then you appreciate the thoroughness. Books are shelved in areas of interest and alpha order. I like going in knowing they have something I want, and then wandering through the other sections looking for something of interest. I've also been there when new books were coming in and gotten the early scoop on a book I'd been wanting to read. Be ready to climb some tiny, somewhat steep steps. Not the worst I've dealt with here, but remember that Bangkok is a crowded place and the only place left to go is up with no OSHA requirements to make steps easy or even. Adds to the character of the place.
