The Celtic cross has been placed in the middle of the "Parade" in the centre of Liskeard. It was dedicated on the 31st Dec 1999, the last day of the old Millennium. It is outside of another very old Liskeard building call Webbs Hotel on which restoration work began in 2003.
There are similar Celtic crosses placed on the main roads into Liskeard at the town boundaries.
