The Pico de Jaragua is the highest point in Sao Paulo. The peak is 1135 meters above sea level. Jaraguá means Lord of the Valley in Tupi. The peak is located in the Parque Estadual do Jaragua. To get to the peak you have to travel about 4 miles by car (from the entrance to the parking area) then it's about a 2 minute walk up to the peak. There's an observation deck at the top.
