Found while excavating at Bancroft, this has been relocated to Queens Square in the Shopping Center at Central Milton Keynes. this haas now been placed in Deer Walk, By the public wc's.

This High quality Roman mosiac floor was found when excavating a roman villa at Bancroft in 1978, it formed the floor of a small room adjacent to the principal bath suite.
The design suggests that it was laid by craftsmen from Corinium [Cirencester] AD 320.
Most Relevant Historical Period: Roman Empire > 27 B.C.
