The summit of Kilimanjaro (Uhuru) is technically not hard to reach but the high altitude can cause altitude sickness like cerebral and pulmonary oedema. A good acclimatisation can help you to reach the summit without big problems! You can take different routes: Machame, Marangu, Shira, Umbwe, Maua and Rongai route. Machame and Marangu are the most popular!
Altitude in Feet: 19340
