This old chapel was a Plymouth Brethren or Quaker meeting house. It opened in 1862 and had its own burial ground tucked in behind it. Sadly the Meeting house has closed down and the building is now used as a Youth centre. The burial ground is still behind the building. At one time it was in danger of disappearing under shoulder high weeds and brambles. I am pleased to report at when I visited the burial ground the grass seemed well tended though the gate was padlocked shut.
