Established in 1906 and still going strong. All weather surfaces are floodlit and there are also grass courts in the summer. New members welcome.

Kendal Lawn Tennis Club has undergone a number of transformations since its foundation way back in 1906. Originally located at the Kendal Cricket Club ground, it moved to its current location on Appleby Road in 1990. The introduction of floodlighting in the autumn of 1999 has given rise to a new surge of interest in the Club.
Now established with over 140 members, the Club offers a wide range of facilities for every type of player - from the total beginner to the aspiring Wimbledon first seed!

Members get together every Tuesday evening and Sunday afternoon - all the year round - for social tennis, while those able to play during the day are invited to join the Club’s more senior members on Tuesday and Friday afternoons.
Children of all ages - regardless of ability - are invited to come along on Saturday mornings 10.00 to 12 noon.
