This mine adit is part of the Eylesbarrow mining complex.
Eylesbarrow Mine, which operated between 1814 and 1852 has been described as one of Dartmoor’s most important mines. The mine is spread over a large area, there is a variety of granite structures and features including stamping mills, a smelting house, wheelpits, leats, tramways, shafts and adits.
