Know locally a the Black Huts are some dozen or so beach Huts which have been there many years,They are not all black of course,in fact most are nicely painted, they are privately owned and are used mainly for weekend and holiday use, there is no water or electricity supply.
One of the huts has been built from an old boat and been extended over the years, the huts are quite sought after and some years ago one was for sale for over 40 thousand pounds.
Year built: 1900
